the story of a girl
Of course, not five minutes after ordering this purse online, I find this little* gem:
How much do you think I paid for it? With my store discount: *drumroll* $4.50.
Do I need more purses? Not really, but I find solace in the fact that I have not bought a purse since I bought my tokidoki two years ago.
Now that I’m done gloating, job #2 (retail) is pretty awesome. I mean, my back and fingers hurt after rearranging and hanging socks for two hours last night (NEVER AGAIN), but really, it’s pretty sweet. The people who work there are super friendly, funny and helpful, and I feel like I know them already because I’m (surprise surprise) a regular customer. There is a part of me that’s terrified that somehow I’ll screw this up and I’ll have to find a new store, but I’m sure it’ll be fine. I’ve been hired to be the new person who knows what they’re doing in Mens and childrens, so that’s cool. At least I’m kept somewhat away from dangerous things, like purses and shoes.
*I must add a disclaimer to the word little, because this is the largest purse I have ever owned. Today it held my book, my 3lb workbook stack for coffeejob, my apron, lunch, a large water bottle, 3 cameras and a sweatshirt.
